Loving Living in a Walkable Neighborhood
So I ran across a site today called Walk Score. Using the Google Maps API, it computes how close an address is to things like grocery stores, restaurants, etc. and assigns it a score from 1 to 100 based upon how walkable it is.
I’m proud to say that I live in a “Walker’s Paradise” in San Francisco’s Noe Valley. Take a look:
The site hopes that real estate agents will embed walking maps like these in their postings to encourage people to get out of their cars and enjoy their neighborhood by foot. I wish them luck.

Restarting Again…
So it’s been a long time since I’ve updated this beast, but I’m trying to commit to not worrying about writing the perfect blog post, but rather to stop when I think “I should blog about this” and just do it. Hopefully, the result will be more posts, probably more short ones and the occasional literary jewel when I actually have time to sit down and write.
