New CD Benefits Teach for America

Gary Guthrie, father of alumna Taylor Guthrie (N.Y.C. ‘05), has spearheaded the creation of a tribute album to great singer-songwriters with all proceeds to benefit Teach For America. Twenty-six contemporary singer-songwriters contributed recordings to Before the Goldrush, including Neko Case, The Swell Season (from the motion picture Once), and Okkervil River. Contributions include songs written by James Taylor, Leonard Cohen, Tim Buckley, Joni Mitchell, and others. All proceeds go directly to support Teach For America.
